Jesus Ali I was beginning to worry about you. As long as you’re doing alright my ‘Iran’ is a little brighter.
I was up half the night last night trying to configure my pc as a proxy server in case it might help someone back home get access to the outside world. I still have to figure out a couple of quirks and test it. I’ll let you know if I can actually get a sign my efforts amount to any help to our comrades.
It’s fathers day in the States this weekend, but lets shoot for Sat. for a chat…take care my man.

Unfortunately the only thing I can do here is to try to inform of what’s going on inside.
They are arresting many activists and reformists which has already included many of the very know people in previous governments.
In the news they say they have already arrested upto 500 people. I think if people stay nonviolent and protest how much space do they have in their prisons? they have to back off at the end…
Thanks mate maybe this weekend we can talk on the phone.

I thoroughly enjoy the Atlantic and the recent issue (not yet online) has an article on Iran. I have yet to read it as I’ve been too busy following the news. I have a horrible feeling the ‘guardians’ (janitors) will use this situation to clean house (identify dissidents in the intelligentsia and if they happen to scape alive end up behind bars). I hope I am wrong, and I actually miss another revolution that sees the so called guardians demoted to street sweepers (I only say that because I know your blog is dedicated to nonviolence). I personally want to see a good old fashioned, dark age European bonfire!
