  • Can you believe this? A raid against women wearing boots! Well believing will be easier when you know that for the occasion of international Human rights Day (10th of December), an Iranian governmental official said that International deceleration of Human rights doesn’t fit with Islamic rules! (Roozonline, Persian) So he thinks that the deceleration should be reviewed and those about Women rights should be changed to fit the Islamic rules, So much for all those trying to say that human rights and Islam are not in contrast.

I’m sure you can find useful information there. These collections are really valuable one just has to find the time and surf through them.

    Restored hope in Poland

    Poland’s liberal opposition Civic Platform party has won a massive poll victory, ousting Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski’s conservatives. Congratulations to my Polish friends!
    Lech Kaczynski, is Poland’s president and does not face an election until 2010. I reckon it is going to be 3 difficult years for him!
    Mr. Tusk, has thanked everyone that “helped restore hope between Poles”.
