Now that Hillary Clinton is out of the race Obama supporters are worried that some female supporters of Hillary will vote for McCain, so they are trying to show McCain’s views on some issues like Birth control and pro-choice. (*my title is from The Huffington Post)

Yesterday 1st of May was International workers’ day and RSS awareness day… Congratulations to all workers and for those of you who are still not too much familiar with RSS you can watch this Video which is RSS in plain English:
With 100 days to go until the Beijing Olympics, Amnesty International today (30 April) launched the first in a series of four hard-hitting animated films highlighting human rights abuses linked to the Chinese authorities’ hosting of the Games, in particular the risks of peacefully protesting in China. Watch the first animation here:
It’s been five years. Five years of bloodshed and displacement. Five years of fear and dread, and for children aged five and younger, war is all they’ve known. Since April five years ago, more than 200,000 have died and more than 2.3 million people have been forced to flee their homes as a result of the conflict in this vast region to the west of Sudan. Tomorrow there will be the day for Darfur in the UK.
The reason I’m not updating my blog are two: First reason is that I’ve been too busy with work during the last weeks, even now that is Sunday I’ve spent it at work all day! The second and maybe the main reason is that I’ve been trying to set up everything to move my blog to WordPress. I decided to move from Movable type to wordpress because it is an OpenSource and on the other hand my webhost supports it better. Movable Type is a great management system but unfortunately when you have the personal free version there is no support for it and also I had problems with some of the features in my host so I thought would be a good Idea to move to wordPress and move the weblog to the root of FreeLantern at the same time.
I still have to sort out some of the features here like my feed links and the tags of my previous posts and … but for the moment everything is up and running!
I’ve also started writing in Persian again here, so if you can read Persian you can also read my Persian weblog!
I saw this video in Britt Bravo’s blog, it is a music video created by will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas based on Barack Obama’s “Yes We Can” speech. As today is an important day I thought I’d share it here with you. Watch the video:
McCain in this video starts singing Bomb Iran! I think as a video online with comic of Bush this might have been funny but singing it as a US presidential candidate, I don’t know what you can call it!
As you may have noticed, I restarted updating my photoblog (pelk) after transferring it from the old address to here. Now it is running on MT4. I have tried to tag each post with suitable tags so that it will be easier to surf trough the photos.
